<description>Enjoyed the article. Agree with most if not all of it. Not long back, I went through a 12-lesson course on missions (Perspectives Study Program). Found it informative. Some of the comments below come from things learnt from that course.
·	The kingdom of God has always been. It was first challenged when one of its heavenly citizens decided to rebel and establish a rival kingdom. This rebellion and rival kingdom spilled onto earth when the Rebel approached the woman in the garden and Adam fell. God’s mission is therefore about re-establishing his kingdom or rule over creation (view 4)
·	There is mission and missions. The former is God’s and the latter is man’s part within God’s mission (views 1-3). When the latter begins to dominate, definitions of mission become restrictive. Views 1-3 need to be mindful of their place within view 4.
·	The nature of doing missions is to serve itself or become an end in itself resulting in varying views of mission and each pushing for top spot. So there is a need to connect these with kingdom objectives (God’s mission). Enter strategy.
